Women Were Never Meant to Work Like This
September 24, 2026

✅ The modern workplace expects you to be “on” day in, day out.
âś… Your energy and capacity do NOT look the same every day.
âś… Forcing the same output regardless of how you feel = unnecessary friction.
âś… Cycle-synced planning is the most effective way to thrive in your work & career with ease.
Hi {{first_name}},
If you’re a woman grinding her a** off at work, at home, and everywhere in-between… constantly thinking, “I don’t have enough hours in the day.” – we need to chat.
Because chances are, you’ve been trying to solve the problem with some version of:
“I need to be more disciplined.”
“I just need to commit to myself.”
“I KNOW what I need to do. I just need to actually do it.”
So you write the to-do list, fill the calendar, and start the day with good intentions.
Yet by 5 p.m., half of today’s mountain has been dragged into tomorrow while that delightful little voice in your head whispers:
“See? You didn’t get it all done AGAIN. What’s wrong with you?!”
Here’s why this is happening:
You’re trying to fit into a system that was never designed for you in the first place.
Let me explain...
The System Wasn’t Built With Women in Mind
It wasn’t too long ago that women were treated as “currency”.
In fact, we didn’t have rights to vote until the late 1800’s. Globally, we only truly entered the workforce once all the men were sent to war in the early 1900’s.
Here’s the shocker that most of us don’t realise because we’re too young to remember: we didn’t have the rights to our own bank account or line of credit until the mid 1900’s.
And as of today, September 2026, the society we live in (including our workplaces) are still not set up for us to thrive.
This might ruffle some feathers, but it’s true.
Whatever your political or societal viewpoints, we live in a patriarchy. This isn’t new news. This has been going on for hundreds of thousands of years.
And it works really well for ~50% of the population, while leaving the remaining half to suffer in silence.
How many times have you pushed through exhaustion because the calendar said you were supposed to perform?
How many times have you witnessed unexplainable changes in your mood, symptoms, sleep, or energy and immediately decided: “FFS, what’s wrong with me today?”
How many times have you forced yourself through life on “hard mode” because you assumed being effective meant producing at exactly the same intensity every day?
The correct answer for all of us is: too long.
Your Energy Is Data. Start Planning With It.
Let me be clear: this isn’t about male vs. female.
It’s about understanding your individual patterns instead of blindly expecting identical output every single day.
This idea that humans should operate at their peak day in, day out, couldn’t be further from the truth… especially for females.
It still baffles me how few women truly understand the four phases of their cycle, the influence this has over their body, mood, and energy… and, ultimately, their work & life.
I don’t know about you, but my memories of “Life Skills” class in school were:
-
Don’t get pregnant.
-
Don’t get aids.
-
You now have armpit hair and periods. Good luck.
No one ever taught me about the ebb and flow of my hormones, and the knock-on effect that has to literally ALL areas of my life (including my productivity).
No one taught me how to pay attention to my own recurring patterns.
No one showed me how that information belonged alongside my calendar, workload, priorities, relationships, training, and rest.
And no one taught me how powerful it feels to stop treating every dip in energy as a personal failure.
Instead, I spent years trying to force myself into the same mould every single day. And that was a highway straight to Burnoutville. 🥵
Now? I have a system in place where I pay attention, track, and plan accordingly. The foundation of cycle-synced planning.
The best part is that it’s 100% customised to ME. Because every woman (and hence, every cycle) is different.
And here’s the juicy part no one’s talking about: the same cycle that runs your body?
It runs the entire Universe, too. It’s everywhere, from the Seasons, to the moon, to a butterfly’s life.
This is why I’m so damn passionate about cycle-synced planning: it’s a game-changer for women, and for humankind at large.
Once you know your unique energetic patterns, you can predict them.
Once you can predict them, you can plan for them.
And when you plan in alignment with your cycle, you become unstoppable.
You put demanding work where it fits best. You protect recovery when you know you need it. You have a plan in place around the actual HUMAN responsible for executing the plan.
I have a fire in my belly about empowering every single woman… not just with this information, but with a simple, practical system to implement it into her life.

And because you’re part of this community, you’ll be the first to know.

In the meantime, tune into my podcast for a simple breakdown of how I use cycles to create a more sustainable approach to productivity, planning, and success.
This is the cheat-code I wish everyone got taught in “Life Skills” class at school.
To your inevitable successs,

P.S. In this week’s episode of Resonance, I’m unpacking why slowing down feels so damn uncomfortable when you’ve spent years conditioning yourself to go, go, go.
We’ll explore what sits underneath that resistance, and how to start building your “rest muscle” without turning relaxation into yet another thing you need to achieve.
