Please Don't Wait Till January to Do This
November 05, 2026

âś… How I spent my birthday weekend (and why it was one of the best yet)
âś… Why the Planning Queen LOVES a day with no plans at all
âś… The one thing to sort before January (that most people leave too late)
Hi {{first_name}},
It was my birthday last week (happy birthday to meeeeeee!), and it was one of the best ones yet.
Not because of some extravagant party, presents, or attention.
In fact – quite the contrary: the day was filled with simplicity, peace, and quiet.
Ahhhh, every busy woman's dream.
My partner and I have birthdays that are one second apart. I'm a Halloween Baby, and he was born on the Day of the Dead.
This year, we decided to do something we don't usually do: rent a bach for the weekend.
(A bach, pronounced "batch", is Kiwi slang for "holiday home". All the boomers have one – or 3 – here.)
It was everything I hoped for and then some.
Sunny, spacious, 100m from the beach, and plenty of grass for Piper and me to lie in.
As the Planning Queen đź‘‘, I LOVE a day with no plans at all.
I call it "time for magic".
Because contrary to what you might think, planning doesn't mean cramming every microsecond of your day into a jam-packed calendar.
It's being strategic with how you allocate your two most precious resources: your time and your energy.
And the truth is, sometimes, despite our best intentions... we simply can't plan for the magical moments the Universe has in store for us.
Like this weekend.
We had no plans.
My day started with caviar and ended with pizza (I shared all the in-betweens on my Instagram here).
I didn't plan every minute detail, and that's what made it so damn special.
But here's what it took to bring this day to life...
Planning.
(wait – whaaaaa?!?!)
Yup.
I PLANNED for the magic.
Or, as we say in our community: "Plan, and leave a little room for magic."
And I'm actively calling more of that into my life next year.
Speaking of next year...
Holy sh*t. 2027 is just around the corner.
And, {{first_name}}... it's not going to plan itself.
No, I'm not just talking about the work conference, school holidays, and dance recitals.
I mean the retreat you've been craving to splurge on for the last 3 years.
The spacious birthday weekend where you do what YOU want to do, rather than what looks good on Instagram.
Perhaps even the launch date of your brand new side hustle.
All of this begins with a plan, which is why my clients will be gathering for our Annual Planning Ritual later this year, where they get to connect with their vision for 2027, crystallise their priorities, and walk away with a month-by-month game plan.
They've already got their 2027 calendars.
A+ students, I tell ya.
How about you? Do you have your 2027 calendar yet?
Because if you're the type of person who waits until January to get it, you're going to be late to the party.
A great plan is the prerequisite to success, and that begins NOW.
Personally, I use The Big A## Calendar (you can get 10% off using VIKTORIALEVENBERG at checkout) – but what matters more is that the calendar works for you.
So, this is a loving nudge to get yours now.
Over the coming weeks, I'll be sharing some behind-the-scenes titbits of the process I teach and facilitate with my clients, so you can start designing 2027 as your best year yet.
Keep your eyes peeled on your inbox: I'll be here with Part 1 this time next week, and I promise you don't want to miss it. đź‘€
In the meantime, do us both a favour and order that '27 calendar, stat.
To your inevitable success,

P.S. What if the success you've already created has quietly become the comfort zone standing between you and your next breakthrough?
On Resonance this week, I chat with breakthrough performance strategist Art Turock about why comfort can become a hidden limitation, the difference between interest and true commitment, and the "colossal deception" that keeps us choosing short-term comfort over long-term growth.

That means that if you decide to get yourself one of their gorgeous calendars, stickers, or planners using my link, you will get a 10% discount, and I will get a little commission in return (which I like to call "thank you money").
